As drupa 2024, the international trade fair for printing and media, approaches, Hybrid Software is preparing to mark its presence with a major announcement: its new slogan, “We Share Your Heartbeat”. This phrase resonates strongly in the industry, symbolizing the company's commitment to staying in tune with the needs and aspirations of its customers in industrial printing and packaging.
At drupa 2024, Hybrid Software will be offering a range of innovative solutions to optimize workflows in the printing and packaging industry. Here's an overview of their flagship products, dedicated to the label and packaging market:
Packz, the most popular PDF editor for labels and packaging, takes prepress production to the next level with a unique combination of automated actions and dedicated prepress tools. With its editing and quality assurance functions, Packz makes designs print-ready for any printing process. Packz CAD option, a CAD-based 'step and repeat' module, automatically positions artwork precisely on the cutout, applies station and waste numbers, and also applies bleed with a common knife overrun.
Cloudflow is a modular production workflow designed for file processing, asset management, proofing and workflow automation, specially adapted for packaging graphics. It offers a web-based application platform with support for PDF, color separation, trapping, screening, proofing and much more.
MyCLOUDFLOW and MyPACKZ are hosted SaaS workflow solutions: CLOUDFLOW is the benchmark for enterprise workflow. This highly configurable enterprise workflow system enables fast, efficient automation of prepress tasks for customers worldwide.
All demonstrations at drupa will feature MyCLOUDFLOW, a fully cloud-based SaaS solution running in a dedicated Amazon Web Services (AWS) cluster. The No-IT solution offers rapid access to CLOUDFLOW in a private, secure environment for each customer, with strong data protection and immutable backups. As with any SaaS solution, there's no need to purchase hardware, and scalability is easy without the need for local IT support. The installed base of MyCLOUDFLOW users is proving very popular, as printers have come to appreciate the power of SaaS and the benefits it can bring to their business.
MyPACKZ is a SaaS-based prepress application for any printing process, digital or conventional, derived from HYBRID Software's highly successful PACKZ software. PACKZ, which has sold over 5,000 copies worldwide, provides a complete set of prepress tools for packaging, from upstream control to downstream repetition and trapping. MyPACKZ offers the same functionality in a hosted SaaS business model for increased production efficiency, quality improvements and reduced error rates. It's the ideal editing solution for MyCLOUDFLOWcustomers, as it allows their files to remain in the cloud at all times, even when editing is required.
Colorspace is a data-driven color management solution designed to optimize production costs and match brand colors. It uses ColorLogic's advanced spectral technology to extend the color gamut and intelligently reduce ink consumption, enabling printers to save on costs while maintaining outstanding print quality. On make-readies a color can be measured, optimized and a new PDF is output on the fly helping to reduce time on press and reworkings in the prepress department.
