Have a Healthy & Productive New Year

In his end-of-year message, FINAT President Chris Ellison reminisced 2020 as being a considerably challenging year. And yet, despite the tough circumstances it became evident that our industry is not only an essential part of society's critical infrastructure, but also able to adapt fast to abrupt changes.

The Pandemic has rapidly forwarded our association into the digital age and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. We increased the number of technical webinars, introduced regulatory E-briefings, offered a virtual technical seminar and we will also turn the European Label Forum 2021 into an online event (31 May - 4 June).

However, the strength of the label community and FINAT as its platform lies with personal relations and networking, and now that there is light at the end of the tunnel with the vaccines arriving from different providers (all needing labels of course!), all eyes are on September when hopefully we can meet again face to face at Labelexpo Europe.

In the meantime and until further notice, we will continue to offer our events and meetings online and we encourage everyone to participate.
