The 2019 Kathy Woodward Award for Learning is now open for entries!

Launched in 2015 in memory of the BPIF's much loved CEO Kathy Woodward, who sadly passed away in 2014, the £1,000 Award – sponsored by Webmart – supports individuals in the print, packaging and graphic design industries to further their careers.

Last years' Award went to Billy Gibbs O'Riordan , Case Binding Manager at Precision Printing. On his achievement, Billy said, "I am over the moon to have recieved the Kathy Woodward Award! I had the please of meeting Kathy on a number of occasions during my early development. Recieving advice and motivation from such a character and others like her plays a huge part in my hunger to develop. As well as being a huge pat on the back and a chance to meet other great characters, the Award will help me develop my career and the grant will be well spent on courses and resources that will launch my career further."

To apply for the £1,000 Award, applicants need to submit a 500-word proposal on why they should recieve the Award and how they would spend the money to further their careers in the print, packaging or graphic design industries.

All applications for the Kathy Woodward Award should be made by visiting www.britishprint.com/kathywoodward

The application deadline is 5pm on Friday 31 May 2019

The Award will be presented at this years' All-Party Print Group Reception at the House of Commons on 9 July.
