ISO releases technical specifications on "Label materials"

Last August, ISO published an International Technical Specification (ISO/TS) titled ISO DTS 18614: Packaging - Label Material - Required information for ordering and specifying self-adhesive labels. Alongside the German Association VskE, FINAT had significant involvement via DIN in the creation of this document.

BPIF Labels Spring/Summer Golf Day 2016

June 22nd saw an enthusiastic band of 24 golfers from the UK label industry gather at Walmley Golf Club, the lovely parkland course in the West Midlands, for the BPIF Labels' Summer Golf Meeting.  The course was in fine condition with the greens running fast and the rough not too testing - at least not as much as the trees!

FINAT - National Association's Meeting in Paris

Jules Lejeune opened the meeting and welcomed everyone present. FINAT President Thomas Hagmaier opened the meeting and thanked UNFEA for their hospitality. He stated to be pleased that with two
exceptions, all associations had made the trip to Paris so shortly after the tragic events of Friday 13 November.
